Z_YounanRobert Peddicord is Chief Operating Officer of Younan Properties and brings more than 22 years of executive experience in commercial real estate leasing and operational management to his role with nationally-recognized, publicly-traded REIT's. He ensures effective management of the company's national real estate portfolio by providing strategic tenant services and operational direction to multiple divisions including property operations, leasing, construction & development, engineering and IT. Before joining Younan, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Arden Realty Inc. Prior to the acquisition of Arden by General Electric in 2006, Arden was a publicly-traded REIT (NYSE:ARI), and the largest owner and operator of office space in Southern California. In May, 2006, Arden was sold to GE Real Estate for $4.8 billion in total enterprise value. As COO, Mr. Peddicord was an integral part of the management team who helped direct the acquisition and growth of the company. A key acquisition by GE Real Estate, the Arden platform serves as GE's West Coast operating platform.

As COO, he developed and managed the strategic business plan for GE/Arden, managed and retained more than 200 employees following the acquisition, and was responsible for buying and selling more than $7 billion of commercial office space, generating more than $1 billion in gross profits. From 1996, the period when Arden became a publicly-traded REIT, until its acquisition by GE in 2006, Mr. Peddicord served first as Arden's Vice President of Leasing, then as Executive Vice President - Operations and Leasing. He was responsible for the entire property operations of the portfolio, which consisted of approximately 20 million square feet and more than 225 office buildings with a total market capitalization of $4.5 billion. During his tenure at Arden, he was instrumental in growing the company from 4.2 million square feet to 18.5 million square feet in a six year period, was responsible for over 150 employees that conducted the day-to-day operations of the portfolio, created and organized the in-house leasing program that was responsible for 4 million square feet of transactions per year, and was a member of the Executive Management Team meeting regularly with analysts and taking part in quarterly earnings calls to investors.

Mr. Peddicord began his commercial real estate career as Corporate Managing Director for Studley, a global tenant advisory firm founded in 1954 and headquartered in New York. A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Mr. Peddicord serves as the Chairman of the Board of Calvary Christian School in Pacific Palisades, Calif., and is a member of the Development Committee for the Board of Directors of Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, Calif.
