Brian Hennessey - Vice President Acquisitions

Brian Hennessey is Vice President of Acquisitions. He has more than 25 years of commercial real estate industry experience in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, and investment strategy.  From 2006 until joining  Younan Properties in 2010,  Hennessey was President of Westridge Realty Partners in southern California. He acquired, syndicated and managed a five-building office portfolio in Houston, totaling 350,000 square feet.

From 2003 through 2006, Hennessey served as Senior Vice President for Younan Properties where he oversaw acquisitions and dispositions. During his tenure, Younan’s portfolio grew to more than eight million square feet of Class A office space.  

Before that, Hennessey was a Vice President for the Office Services Group of Grubb and Ellis in Sherman Oaks, Calif. where he was a top producer and served as the landlord representative for 650,000 square feet of Arden Realty commercial space. Hennessey received his California broker’s license in 1983 and received a certification in Real Estate Marketing from UCLA in 1987.
