The man behind Younan Properties is Zaya S. Younan, CEO of Younan Properties. Mr. Zaya S. Younan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Younan Properties, Inc. Throughout his career, Mr. Younan has distinguished himself as a true entrepreneur, building strategic organizations and profitable operating companies. Mr. Younan has over 20 years of senior management experience working for Fortune 500 companies in various industries in the United States, Asia and Europe. Active in the commercial real estate industry since 1996, Mr. Younan has a distinguished track record of turning around non-profitable assets in major cities throughout the country. He has turned around assets in some of the most difficult and challenging office markets in the country. Through his direction and leadership, he has built Younan Properties into a fast growing and very successful firm. YPI makes principal investments on behalf of private, corporate and institutional investors and is involved in all aspects of operation and asset management. Today, Younan Properties is recognized as one of the most prominent real estate investment firms in the United States. Younan Properties’ accomplishments and past performance since its founding in 1996 is the result of Mr. Younan’s revolutionary approach to real estate investment and operations. His solid track record of success transcends a variety of industries. A visionary in his own right, he has been able to emulate strategies used in other industries to increase productivity and efficiencies, such as manufacturing and high technology, and translate these techniques to the commercial real estate market. This unique operating philosophy and expertise from a diverse array of industries has allowed him to reinvent investment methods and create a new standard of excellence that is applied to all of YPI’s properties. Mr. Younan has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois. He has received numerous honors including the “Newcomer of the Year” award. Mr. Younan is a member of a long roster of major real estate associations and educational institutions nationally.
